Hi Mountain Hunter’s Blend Summer Sausage has the same great flavor as our Hunter’s Blend Jerky and Snackin’ Stick Kits and is one of our most popular blends. Each kit seasons up to 30 lbs. of meat, three lbs. at a time if you choose.
Kit includes two 4.2 oz. packets of Hi Mountain cure, two 10 oz. seasoning packets, one pack of mahogany fibrous casings and detailed instructions.
Corn Syrup solids, salt, spices, flavor (dextrose, salt, yeast), silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), sugar, dehydrated garlic, soybean oil (refined to be allergen free), spice extractives, char oil (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, natural hickory smoke), less than 2% silicon dioxide for anti caking. Cure: Salt, sugar, sodium nitrite (.85%), caramel color.
Bulk size seasons up to 120 lbs. of meat. Please note that cure and casings are not included with the bulk size and must be purchased separately - you can buy bulk seasonings, bulk cure and casings here.

I decided to get this kit since I can't find pork free summer sausage. I made all beef, consistency is good and it has a spicy bite to it, just have to cut back the salt a bit for the next one. I want to make a pizza with this, think it'll be great.
We love it and have used it for years! We do however add whole mustard seed (1/3 cup), pepper (1 Tbls) and Garlic powder (1 tbls).
Great flavor. We will definitely be ordering more for our next batch.
This is the best way to put up game meat. Everybody loves it great to take on the next camping trip and pretty fun to make.
Worked great with some bear if your using deer make sure to add 20 % fat I use pork or it can be dry I cut my casings in half making around 1 lb.rolls then I boil them to 158 and quench in ice water there done then but I like to give them about 3 hours of smoke at around 200 degrees after I let the cased boiled sausage drain overnight

This is the first time I have purchased Hunter blend for summer sausage. I have used a bunch of Hunter blend jerky seasoning so this has to be as good as the jerky seasoning is.
This was the first time I’ve ever made summer sausage and it came out great. The flavor is excellent and it was very simple to make. Everyone loves it and can wait for me to make another 30lb. batch!!
