Product Description
Prairie Sage Breakfast Sausage has the great flavor of traditional breakfast sausage with a touch of sage. Designed to mix with ground pork, or a combination of pork and beef or wild game. Each kit seasons 24 lbs of meat, one lb at a time if you choose.
Ingredients:
Salt, red pepper, sage, black pepper, spice extractives, and citric acid (0.01%) added to protect flavor.
Bulk size seasons up to 240 lbs. of meat. Please note that cure is not included and must be purchased separately - but don't worry, you can add bulk cure here, if you wish. Casings can purchased in the Casing & Bulk Sizes section of our website.

Great flavor. The only addition I make is red pepper flakes. I like a little more heat.

Good breakfast sauaage
I have been using this breakfast for about 2 years. I usually add 1/2 teaspoon of rubbed sage per 1 lb. I will say that sometimes the blends are spicier then others. I use it for wild pig and domestic pig. I give sausage to friends and family and everyone likes it. I also have used it with ground turkey which was very good. You could not tell it was made with ground turkey.
