Prairie Sage Breakfast Sausage has the great flavor of traditional breakfast sausage with a touch of sage. Designed to mix with ground pork, or a combination of pork and beef or wild game. Each kit seasons 24 lbs of meat, one lb at a time if you choose.
Salt, red pepper, sage, black pepper, spice extractives, and citric acid (0.01%) added to protect flavor.
Bulk size seasons up to 240 lbs. of meat. Please note that cure is not included and must be purchased separately - but don't worry, you can add bulk cure here, if you wish. Casings can purchased in the Casing & Bulk Sizes section of our website.

I have been using this product for a long time. We have tried other products even within this company and keep coming back to this seasoning. Many of the older folks in our area taste our sausage that we make with this seasoning and ask for us to make some for them. Even though the directions suggest pork or pork fat, we never add it and still find the venison sausage to be superb. Great blend of great seasonings.

I made this sausage for the first time. I was a little hesitant on not following our family recipe and kinda going away from the same Italian breakfast sausage. To my surprise this was just the sage taste I was looking for. I will certainly do this again and looking forward to other kits now.
