Our Original Mountain Man Breakfast Sausage blend is hearty, delicious and exactly the flavor you expect. Designed to mix with ground pork, or a combination of pork and beef or wild game.
Each kit seasons 24 lbs of meat, one lb at a time if you choose.
Ingredients:
Salt, dextrose, sugar, monosodium glutamate (4.1%), black pepper, red pepper, spice extractives.
Bulk size seasons up to 240 lbs. of meat. Please note that cure is not included and must be purchased separately - but don't worry, you can add bulk cure here, if you wish. Casings can purchased in the Casing & Bulk Sizes section of our website.

We made it in 6 # batches, 3.25 # venison to 2.75 # Boston Butt. It fries a little bit dry but the taste is Great! Shared with family and friends, everyone liked it.

We grind our pork shoulder, add fat and then the seasoning packs. Nothing better! -
Original Mountain Blend breakfast sausage
I have made my own breakfast sausage for over 20 years. I have tried many different brands and flavors, and have settled on Hi Mtn. Original Mountain Man Blend. This has the taste I like. I actually double the recommended seasoning per batch. I have shared my sausage with friends and family. Nobody has not liked the sausage. The fact is, I recently had to make more sausage because I knew what I had in my freezer would not get me through our next deer season. I would add that I make sausage with my own harvested venison. This quality control I have grown to appreciate.
