Ingredients:
- 2 Venison Eye Rounds
- 1/3 cup fresh-ground coffee beans
- 2 tbsps of Hi Mountain Seasonings Venison Rub
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Directions:

Apply the Hi Mountain Seasonings Venison Rub and ground coffee on all sides of the eye rounds.

Place the venison in a preheated smoker or pellet grill set for 300 degrees and grill the venison for 15 minutes.

Glaze the venison with the maple syrup and continue grilling until the venison reaches an internal temperature of 130 degrees. Do not overcook.

Remove the venison from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board 15 minutes before slicing. Resting the meat allows the juices to work back into the meat.
Note: use a meat thermometer when cooking and remove the venison from the grill when it reaches the desired temperature to prevent overcooking.
